Lee Nak-yon breaks with ex-ruling party chief
Lee Jun-seok, a co-leader of the minor New Reform Party, bows in apology during a press conference at the National Assembly in Seoul on Feb. 20, 2024, after Lee Nak-yon, a co-leader of the party, retracted the decision of his party, the Saemirae party, to join hands with the party. The breakup came 11 days after the two parties were merged under the so-called "big tent" political party ahead of the April parliamentary elections. (Yonhap)
