Rally by HK-linked ELS investors
South Korean investors in equity-linked securities (ELS) products tracking Hong Kong's Hang Seng China Enterprises Index, who are suffering heavy losses, stage a rally in front of the Financial Supervisory Service's headquarters in Seoul, on Jan. 19, 2024.They called for the guarantee of their principals, citing banks' non-disclosure of the products' risky aspects in advance.
