Fire in Seoul's slum

Firefighters put out any remaining embers from a fire in the fourth district of Guryong Village, the last remaining slum in Seoul, in the capital's Gangnam Ward on Jan. 20, 2023. The fire, which broke out at 6:28 a.m., is presumed to have burned down around 60 makeshift homes and left 62 residents of 44 households homeless, firefighting authorities said. (Yonhap)
