S. Korea's exports down for 10th month in July
Shipping containers are stacked at a pier in South Korea's largest port city of Busan on Aug. 1, 2023. South Korea's exports dropped 16.5 percent on-year to US$50.33 billion in July to mark the 10th consecutive month of decline due mainly to weak demand for semiconductors, but the country reported a trade surplus for the second month in a row, the industry ministry said.
