British Scouts pay tribute to British soldiers

Members of the British contingent to the ongoing World Scout Jamboree visit a monument to Britain's participation in a battle during the 1950-53 Korean War in the city of Paju, northwest of Seoul, on Aug. 8, 2023, to pay tribute to British soldiers who perished in the conflict. The Battle of the Imjin River, which runs through the two Koreas, took place from April 22-25, 1951, with British forces helping to stop the Chinese offensive to recapture the South Korean capital of Seoul.
