This photo, provided by the patriots and veterans affairs ministry on Feb. 27, 2023, shows three of the 14 Korean and foreign independence fighters during the Japanese colonization of Korea (1910-45), whose black-and-white photos (top) have been restored to color (bottom) by the ministry on the occasion of the 104th anniversary of the March 1 Independence Movement.
