Exhibition on Korean lacquered box

A Korean lacquered box inlaid with mother-of-pearl, believed to have been made in the 16th century during the 1392-1910 Joseon Dynasty, is displayed during a media showcase at the National Museum of Korea in Seoul on Jan. 11, 2023. The Young Friends of the Museum, a group of young businesspeople who love Korean culture, has purchased the traditional handicraft in a U.S. auction and donated it to the museum. (Yonhap)
