Industry ministry launches audit into 'fake news' incident

Industry Minister Kim Jung-kwan speaks during an emergency meeting with representatives of the country's six major business lobby groups in Seoul on Feb. 9, 2026, saying the industry ministry has launched an audit into a "fake news" incident involving the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).
