1 killed, 2 missing in fishing boat's overturn

The Coast Guard engages in search and rescue operations in waters northeast of Gageo Island off Mokpo, 309 kilometers southwest of Seoul, on June 13, 2024. A 33-ton eel fishing trawler capsized there after apparently being hit by another unidentified ship, which fled after the collision at 3:18 a.m. The accident left one killed and two others unaccounted for among the nine individuals aboard the stricken ship.
