'Mr. Trot' TOP 6's management contract with TV Chosun to expire

SEOUL, Sep. 10 (Yonhap) -- Top 6 singers of TV Chosun “Mr. Trot” are set to walk their own paths

“Our management contract with ‘Mr. Trot’ top 6 will expire on Sep. 11,” said TV Chosun Friday.

“We deeply thank Lim Young-woong, Young Tak, Lee Chan-won, Jung Dong-won, Jang Min-ho and Kim He-jae who have worked in various fields and delivered pleasure and comfort to our viewers for the last 1 year and 6months.”

“Although, our partnership ends, we send lots of cheers to ‘Mr. Trot’ top 6’s glorious future,” added the broadcaster.

Earlier, TV Chosun signed a management contract with the 6 members from the top 7 except for Kim Ho-joong just after the last episode of “Mr. Trot.” The broadcaster and the top 6 singers have produced various programs including “Romantic Call Centre” together. The 6 singers will return to their former agencies after the expiration of the contract on the 11th.
