AleXa advances to NBC 'American Song Contest' finals

SEOUL, May 3 (Yonhap) -- AleXa (Kim Seri) advanced to the finals by taking the first place in the audience's vote with the contest song "Wonderland" in the US NBC contest program "American Song Contest."

On the 3rd, AleXa, through her agency ZB Label, said, "I really didn't expect this, so it really feels like a dream to make it to the final with such a good result. I will make sure to be the AleXa that has the best stage till the very end. Thank you so much."

After the semi-final stage was released on the 25th of last month, the results of this final was covered by the votes of the viewers and the fans of the "American Song Contest" with the American IP address.

AleXa was the only K-pop artist out of the 56 contestants that represent each state in the "American Song Contest" which aired in March. AleXa, a Korean-American performed two stages with various versions of the contest song "Wonderland" as she represented her hometown Oklahoma.
