SEOUL,
Dec. 11 (Yonhap) --
The association designated the period from 2 p.m. from Thursday to Sunday as the official mourning period and will operate the memorial area inside the center.
A space for visitors to lay flowers will be arranged in the first-floor lobby, where an LED screen will display images of the late actress. The center’s screening rooms will also show films featuring her.

Kim made her debut in 1957 with Kim Ki-young’s “Train for the Twilight” (“Hwanghonyeolcha”) and went on to appear in some 700 films, becoming one of the leading stars of Korean cinema.
She received the best actress award at the Panama International Film Festival and the Grand Bell Awards for her roles in works including “Land” (1974) and “Gilsodom” (1985).
She died of hypovolemic shock in Los Angeles on Sunday at the age of 85.
