SEOUL, July 12 (Yonhap) -- Krafton announced on Monday that "Battleground Mobile India" has surpassed 34 million cumulative users within a week of its launch.
"Battleground Mobile India," which was released in the Indian market on July 2, ranked first in popularity on Google Play and second in sales in 24 hours after its official release.
Daily maximum number of users recorded 16 million and maximum number of concurrent users recorded 2.4 million, respectively.
Krafton plans to further expand its Battleground intellectual property (IP) there by holding a 'Battleground Mobile India' e-sports competition exclusively for Indian users.
Lim Woo-yeol, director of Battleground Mobile, said, "We hope that Krafton and India's game and e-sports industries will grow together, starting with 'Battleground Mobile India'."
