SEOUL, May 23 (Yonhap) – S. Korean film “Broker,” directed by Japanese director Kore-eda, starring actors Song Kang-ho, Gang Dong-won, and Bae Doo-na has been presold in about 170 foreign countries, according to the distribution company CJ ENM on May 23.
The film has been presold in a total of 171 countries, including Asia, such as Japan, Hong Kong, and Macao, and Europe, such as North America, France, Germany, and Italy.
It has confirmed to be released on June 24 in Japan, while being released in December in France.
“Broker” depicts the story of people meeting through the baby left in a baby box and it is the first Korean film directed by the prominent Japanese filmmaker Kore-eda.
