SEOUL, July 12 (Yonhap) --Devloper of Pokémon GO, Niantic is holding “Community Day” at Ilsan Lake Park on July 17.

First held in last March, Niantic Community Day is an event that encourages residents to gather at local attractions and explore Pokémon Go together. It was held in the United States, Australia, Europe, and Southeast Asia so far.

At the scene, Niantic brand ambassador will visit and present gifts on a first-come, first-served basis for three hours from 11 a.m. on the day. At the same time, large quantities of character “Starly” will appear on Pokemon Go app. For low probability, “Starly“ with different colors will appear.

In addition, globally popular park PokéStop will offer more items than usual. More details of the event can be found on Niantic's official blog.
