SEOUL, May 31 (Yonhap) -- KRAFTON[259960]'s massively multiplayer online role-playing game(MMORPG) “TERA,” which was launched in 2011, will hold an event in appreciation ahead of its service termination in 11 years.
KRAFTON’s label Bluehole Inc. announced on Tuesday that it will hold an event of "Memories of Arborea(translated)" from June 2 to share the memories of TERA with its users.
The representative monsters that symbolize TERA will appear throughout "Arborea," which is the stage of TERA, and users can defeat them.
Users can catch giant monsters and exchange tokens for rare decorative items that have been difficult to obtain.
On June 15, "Last Quest" will be updated to allow people to meet key figures in the TERA worldview and recall their memories.
KRAFTON announced on Apr. 20 that TERA's PC service would end on June 30.
TERA, which was released in 2011, drew attention by becoming the first MMORPG to utilize a no targeting based system for combat and won the grand prize at the "Korea Game Awards."
