SEOUL, Nov. 23 (Yonhap) -- Uijeongbu city in Gyeonggi Province announced on Wednesday that they will hold
UiJeongbu Esports Festival at a gym in Shinhan university on Dec. 10.

Competition for junior high students is "FIFA Online 4," and the preliminaries and final rounds will happen on the same day, Dec.10

The total prize is 15,000,000, 100,000~1,00,000 for junior high department, 300,000~ 2,500,000 for Highs school, and 300,000 ~ 3,500,000 for university department.

Participants in 64 teams will be recruited first come first serve until Nov. 30, and junior high, high, university students can participate regardless of where they live.

An official from Uijeongbu city said, "eSports, selected as official sport for Hangzhou Asian Games, is one of the sports," adding, "I will support citizens so that they can enjoy eSports."
