SEOUL, Jan. 24 (Yonhap) – South Korean boy group ENHYPEN has been going around the world, attesting to their ever-growing international popularity; the septet then returned to Japan and held their first solo dome concert at Kyocera Dome Osaka on Sunday.

Their dome debut was held as a part of the group’s first world tour “Manifesto,” which began in September last year in Seoul and then was moved on to the major cities in the U.S., including Anaheim, Fort Worth, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, and New York. The group then landed in Japan and ran their gigs in Aichi, Osaka, and Kanagawa.

The act’s dome debut was certainly outstanding: The group sold out all 40,000 seats in Kyocera Dome for both nights, setting the record among the so-called fourth-generation K-pop groups that have ever had a dome performance, according to the group’s agency Belift Lab.

“We are so overwhelmed from the first song, as we were in yesterday night,” the group said during their concert. “We have put our voices and moves together to make our name ‘ENHYPEN’ known to the world in one voice this year.”

The septet pumped up excitement with their hit songs “Flicker,” “Always,” “Drunk-Dazed,” and “Polaroid Love,” the tracks of which they had released their Japanese versions.

The K-pop group kicked off their performance in shining white outfits, showing a distinguishable charm of their own, and changed into red outfits as they went halfway through the gig, showing off their irresistible and fatal charming points.

In response to the group’s performance, more than 40,000 fans filled up the dome with the Engene (the group’s official fandom) sticks, making a spectacular scene.

The members used the interlude to play leapfrog and imitate hamsters spinning on the wheel to connect closer with their fans, Engenes. When singing “Make the Change,” the group went through every nook and cranny of the dome on a car-shaped structure and greeted their fans by shaking hands.

The seven-piece group’s first performance at Kyocera Dome in Osaka on Jan. 21, was also broadcasted live at 26 movie theaters in Korea; the second day was streamed online for global fans.

ENHYPEN played more than 20 tracks in their three-hour-act, including the encore stage “Forget Me Not” and “Attention, Please!”

The septet will continue their world tour in Bangkok, Thailand, from Jan. 28 to 29, then in Manila, the Philippines from Feb. 3 to 5.

“Thanks to the love we have received today, we will continue to do our best in the rest of our Asia tour and return the love Engenes gave us,” the group said during their concert.
