SEOUL August, 22 (Yonhap) -- EMK Musical Company announced on Monday that "Elisabeth," which was scheduled for August 25, has been postponed to August 30, due to confirmed cases of COVID-19 within casts and staffs.

"Elisabeth," which was scheduled to have its first performance on August 25 at the Blue Square Shinhan Card Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, has cancelled its four-day performance from August 25 till August 28.

"The reservations for cancelled performances will be refunded. We apologize for any inconvenience and concern caused by the sudden cancellation," said EMK Musical company.

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of its premiere in Korea this year, "Elisabeth" is a work that has been created by adding a fictional character called "Death" (Tod) in a story based on the real life of Empress Elisabeth, who is considered to be the most beautiful empress in the history of Austria.

Actors and actresses including Oak Joo-hyun, Kim Jun-su, Shin Sung-rok, No Min-woo, and Park Eun-tae will be performing.

The performance will be held till November 13.
