‘Chanel Connects’ features G-dragon first episode in Korean

SEOUL, June 14 (Yonhap) -- French luxury brand Chanel announced on Tuesday that boy Group BIGBANG’s G-Dragon and cinematographer Hong Kyung-pyo from movie “Parasite” participated in “Chanel Connects,” an art and culture self-produced podcast.

“Chanel Connects” is planned by Chanel’s “Art & Culture” department, and after season1, season 2 was newly released.

Season 2 consists of 8 episodes, featuring G-Dragon, Maisie Williams, Canadian singer Grimes, and Korean-American conceptual artist Anicka Yi. 

G-Dragon and cinematographer Hong Kyung-pyo participated in the 7th episode of season two, and will discuss the theme “The Energy of Sound and Imaginative and Prescient."

Chanel commented, “It is the only podcast conducted in Korean among Chanel Connects Content, and is the first case of Chanel Connects in other languages other than English or French, realizing the status of K-Contents.”
