These photos, released by the Defense Acquisition Program Administration on April 20, 2023, show South Korea's second homegrown 3,000-ton submarine, the ROKS Ahn Mu, named after a renowned Korean independence fighter. The submarine carrying six ballistic missiles will be commissioned at the Okpo shipyard of Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering on Geoje Island, 331 kilometers southeast of Seoul, later in the day.
