SEOUL, Apr. 3 (Yonhap) -- South Korean mobile game developer Netmarble will drop a brand-new metaverse-based real estate and board game “Everyone’s Marble 2: Meta World” for overseas players except for the Korean and Chinese on April 19, the leading mobile-gaming company confirmed Monday.
This sequel to “Everyone’s Marble” is to be set in a metaverse space based on the actual cadastral map. While purchasing cities in Meta World that hold the same names as the real-life cities, such as New York and Manhattan, players will be able to build new apartments in the cities they purchased.
Netmarble will link this brand-new “Everyone’s Marble 2” to the MBX ecosystem operated by Mabrex, its blockchain-specialized subsidiary.
In its MBX ecosystem, players will be able to exchange the so-called “meta-cash” that they have obtained while playing the game into another dedicated token named “inetrium.” They will then be able to convert inetriums into a virtual currency called “MBX.”
