BTS ‘Butter’ certified platinum in download sector by Japan Association Record

SEOUL, Dec. 20 (Yonhap) -- Boy group BTS’s digital singer "Butter" receives platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

 

The song "Butter" received a platinum certification in the download sector on Dec. 20, according to the association.

 

The association makes a list based on the cumulative number of downloads of songs, ranging from gold (over 100,000 downloads) to platinum (over 250,000 downloads), and million (over 1,000,000 downloads).

 

BTS has earned platinum and gold certification in the download sector with the songs "Dynamite" and "Permission to dance," last February and September.

 

The boy group has received certifications in the album and streaming sector until now.

 

The single "Butter" sold 250,000 copies last July and earned platinum-seller status in the album sector.

 

The song "Permission to dance" and the title song "DNA" of "LOVE YOURSELF 承 Her" received the platinum certification in the streaming sector for exceeding one hundred million views.
