SEOUL, April 29 (Yonhap) -- South Korean streaming platform Wave announced Tuesday it will host a special exhibition titled "The Prompt: Next Drama," featuring award-winning AI-generated films.
The lineup includes six films such as "Mateo," which won the Grand Prize at the Korea AI International Film Festival; "One More Dopamine," awarded Best AI Film at the New York International Film Awards; "The Witness," recipient of the Grand Prize at the Busan International AI Film Festival; and "Novaviva," which received the Minister of Science and ICT Award.
"Mateo," "The Witness," and "Novaviva" were created using generative AI and XR (Extended Reality) technologies, while "One More Dopamine" combines live-action footage with AI content.
Han Seung-hee, Wave's head of global business, said, "We plan to enrich our lineup with more experimental films to offer users a diverse range of cinematic experiences."
