SEOUL, Nov. 8 (Yonhap) -- Actress Koh Hyun-jung is set to transform into a star idol producer in Genie TV's upcoming drama "Nabif," premiering next month.
Genie TV announced on the 8th that Nabif will air its first episode on December 23 at 10 p.m.
Nabif follows the journey of star producer Kang Soo-hyun, played by Koh Hyun-jung, and long-time trainee Yoo Jin-woo, portrayed by Ryeo-woon, as they navigate a project to launch Yoo Jin-woo as a star after both are ousted from their company.
Koh’s character, Kang Soo-hyun, a producer with her own distinct approach to nurturing idols, was dismissed from Pandora Entertainment, where she worked as a co-CEO, and faces the challenge of supporting her son with a disability.
The cast also includes Yoon Sang-hyun as Shim Joon-seok, Soo-hyun’s husband, and Lee Jin-woo as Shim Jin-woo, their hearing-impaired son. Director Han Sang-jae, known for House with a Yard and The Day of Kidnapping, leads the production.
