‘Taxi Driver’ to Return with Season 3 in H2

SEOUL, Feb. 6 (Yonhap) -- SBS’s hit drama Taxi Driver is making a comeback with its third season.

On the 6th, SBS announced that Taxi Driver Season 3 has been scheduled to air in the latter half of this year.

The drama follows the secretive taxi company Rainbow Transport and its driver, Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon), as they take justice into their own hands by avenging victims who have been wronged. It is based on the webtoon of the same name.

Season 1, which first aired in 2021, achieved a peak viewership rating of 16.0%, while Season 2, which aired in 2023, reached an impressive 21.0%, securing a strong fanbase.

For the upcoming season, the main cast—including Lee Je-hoon, Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin, and Bae Yoo-ram—will reunite.

Writer Oh Sang-ho, who penned the Taxi Driver series, will return, collaborating with director Kang Bo-seung, who co-directed Dr. Romantic 3.
