Stray Kids' "Thunderous" Receives Gold Certification from RIAA

SEOUL, Aug. 20 (Yonhap) -- Stray Kids has been awarded Gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for their song "Thunderous," JYP Entertainment announced on the 20th.

The RIAA certifies albums and singles based on sales in the U.S., with Gold (over 500,000 copies), Platinum (over 1,000,000 copies), Multi-Platinum (over 2,000,000 copies), and Diamond (over 10,000,000 copies) designations.

"Thunderous," the title track from Stray Kids' second studio album "NOEASY" released in 2021, is noted for its grand sound and bold lyrics.

Stray Kids will kick off their new world tour "domiNATE" with concerts at Seoul’s Olympic Park KSPO Dome on August 24-25 and August 31-September 1.
