SEOUL, April 8 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy group EXO on Wednesday marked its 14th debut anniversary, expressing gratitude to fans and pledging to continue its journey together.

“It’s hard to believe that 14 years have already passed,” the group said through its agency SM Entertainment. “We sincerely thank EXO-L for their unwavering love.”

“Looking back, there have been countless moments, and the most meaningful part is that we have walked that time together with EXO-L,” the group added. “We always remember the air on stage and the gaze of our fans. Those moments have come together to shape who we are today.”

EXO debuted in 2012 and rose to stardom with hit songs such as "Wolf," "Growl," "Overdose" and "Love Me Right."

In January, the group released its eighth full-length album "REVERXE," which became its eighth million-selling album and topped various music programs, demonstrating its enduring popularity.

Member Sehun said, “I’m grateful to have been with the members for 14 years. To our fans who have supported, trusted and loved us until the end, thank you so much. Let’s go as far as we can together.”

Chanyeol recalled, “The first thing that comes to mind is our performance of "History" at our debut showcase.”

EXO will kick off its sixth solo concert tour, "EXO PLANET #6 - EXhOrizon," at KSPO Dome in Seoul’s Olympic Park from April 10 to 12. It marks the group’s first new concert in six years and four months.

Suho described the upcoming shows as “nostalgic,” saying, “While there will be new songs and performances, we reinterpreted and recreated the songs from the past 14 years with a 2026 sensibility. It will be a day when EXO and EXO-L become one.”

Kai added, “Being able to breathe together with fans in the same space again feels special. If I had to describe this concert in one word, it would be ‘reunion.’ It’s not just about putting on a show, but about reconnecting time.”

He also vowed, “We will do our best to repay the time you’ve waited with even greater happiness.”
