SEOUL, April 7 (Yonhap) -- Global luxury beauty brand Sulwhasoo said Tuesday it successfully held its “Yoonbit Class” event with global ambassador Im Yoon-a at the Bukchon Sulwhasoo House in Seoul.

The event, held Sunday, was designed to share the brand’s distinctive beauty philosophy and offer an in-depth understanding of “yoonbit skin,” a term defined by Sulwhasoo as a healthy, radiant glow of the skin.

It also incorporated the brand’s cultural and arts program “Salon Sulwhasoo,” providing participants with a multifaceted experience.

Im attended the event alongside special guest Hyoyeon, visiting the Bukchon Sulwhasoo House — a space that reinterprets Korean values and aesthetics in a contemporary context.

Participants engaged in the full program of the class, experiencing Sulwhasoo’s standards of beauty from multiple perspectives.

During the opening beauty session, a Sulwhasoo researcher explained the principles behind “yoonbit skin,” focusing on the natural radiance of healthy skin.

The session highlighted key aspects of skin aging from a well-aging perspective and addressed commonly asked skincare questions through a quiz format, drawing strong responses from attendees.

The researcher’s professional insights were complemented by personal anecdotes shared by Im and Hyoyeon, effectively conveying the brand’s philosophy of healthy beauty.

The event continued with “Salon Sulwhasoo,” featuring metal craft artist Studio Po, where participants explored inspiration drawn from culture and art.

Under the theme “poetry written in metal,” attendees experienced craftwork that combines traditional materials with modern sensibilities, reflecting Sulwhasoo’s philosophy of achieving balanced beauty through harmony between inner and outer elements.

The setting in Bukchon, known for its traditional Korean atmosphere, further enhanced the experience by blending local heritage with the brand’s aesthetic identity.

A Sulwhasoo official said the event was designed to offer a seamless experience connecting scientific understanding of the skin with artistic inspiration.

“We will continue to create opportunities to communicate Sulwhasoo’s unique vision of beauty through diverse programs,” the official said.
