BUSAN, June 7 (Yonhap) – Busan Content Market Organizing Committee announced on Tuesday that it has appointed S. Korean actors Kim Hyun-joo and Kim Kang-woo as its ambassadors this year.

Kim Hyun-joo made herself known to more international viewers by starring in the Netflix’s original series “Hellbound” and JTBC’s drama “Undercover” last year.

Actor Kim Kang-woo appeared in various dramas, including JTBC’s drama “Artificial City” and KBS’ drama “Woman of 9.9 Billion,” and was recently confirmed to star in the spy thriller sound film “Far East,” directed by Kwak Kyung-taek.

Kwon Man-woo, the head of the organizing committee, said, “We have appointed them as ambassadors as we highly appreciated the two actors that gained global popularity through various OTT(Over-the-top media service) platforms.”

The appointment ceremony will be held at a VIP room of Busan Exhibition and Convention Center(BEXCO) on June 8 afternoon.

Busan Content Market 2022 will be held under the theme of “Your Story if Our Story” at BEXCO from June 8 to 10.
