SEOUL, May 31 (Yonhap) -- "Daegu Flower Show," the largest indoor flower show in Korea, will be opening on June 3rd at EXCO, Daegu.
According to the city of Daegu on the 31st, this show, which marks its 13th year, will be attended by 137 institutions and 600 famous florists to present colorful flower works and events for four days.
The venues are the theme hall with the theme of "design with flowers," a Cheongna Hall where 12 large works are displayed, a local government hall where local government flower groups are participating, the general hall where wildflowers, orchids, bonsai, rare plants, terrariums, succulents, and other flowers found in our daily life are displayed.
Additionally, there will also be a flower product contest, a student department contest that can be a place for young people to discover talents and work experience, a Korean-Japanese cooperation exhibition, flower commentary tour, bouquet show, flower tea class, and a flower mini concert.
Particularly, during this year's expo, the "18th Korea Cup Flower Design Competition," which boasts the highest authority in the domestic flower industry is also being held.
If chosen as a champion, one will be able to participate as a representative of the Asia Cup and the Interflora World Cup, so it is expected that one would be able to see high-quality works.
