SEOUL, June 2 (Yonhap) -- Namhae county, South Gyeongsang province announced on the 2nd that the "17th Namhae's Garlic and Hanwoo Festival" will be held from the 10th till the 12th at the plaza of the Namhae Exile Literature Center.
It is expected to boost the atmosphere of the "2022 Year of Visit to Namhae county" as it is a large-scale offline festival that is being held for the first time in three years with the social distancing measures being lifted.
Namhae county focused on maximizing the sales by promoting the excellence of garlic and Korean beef, while also preparing a variety of performances and experience events for citizens and tourists.
Additionally, Namhae county has placed a "local food sales zone," along with a product store, a picnic zone, an experience zone, a food truck, and a publicity center in the Plaza of the Exile Literature Center.
Other events including making golden rice cakes, street performances and art troupe performances will also be held.
An adult concert, "Again 1973 Namhae Nightclub," "Garlic and Korean Beef Duet Song Festival," congratulatory performances by popular singers, and multi-shows will also follow.
