SEOUL, June 2 (Yonhap) -- Singer Rain (real name Jung Ji-hoon) will be holding a solo concert for the first time since the opening of Cheong Wa Dae.

"Thanks to all of you, on Friday, June 17, at 7 p.m., I got a chance to hold a solo concert at the Blue House. I feel very honored for this chance," said Rain on the 2nd through his social media.

He said, "I'm planning to be with all of you in an open space," and asked to prepare three things, namely "black clothes," "black sunglasses," and "hot passion to entrust oneself to the beat."

It is the first time for a singer to hold a solo performance at Cheong Wa Dae, which has returned to the arms of the citizens on the 10th of last month. On 22nd May, KBS' "Open Concert," a special concert was held on the outdoor stage in front of the main building of Cheong Wa Dae. However, it was performed by several singers including Gummy, Brave Girls, and Insooni.

This performance will also be performed along with the OTT platform, Netflix.

Regarding the performance, Rain said, "As it will be filmed on Netflix, the rehearsals have to be done together, and I ask for your understanding that the number of songs may be limited."

He then also asked those who would like to dance together for the best stage, who would like to burn their hidden talents and passions, and those who would like to make their faces known to 195 countries around the world, to join him.

However, Rain did not disclose the specific performance plan and location. The performance will be free.
