SEOUL, June 21 (Yonhap) – S. Korean singer Sunmi will make a comeback in ten months with a single album.

Sunmi will drop the new digital single “Heart Burn” through diverse music platforms on June 29 at 6 p.m., according to the agency ABYSS Company on Tuesday.

It is the singer’s first release in about ten months since the third mini album “1/6,” which was dropped in August, 2021.

The upcoming album contains two songs, including the namesake title song “Heart Burn” and “Green Apple(translated).” Sunmi participated in writing lyrics for the two songs and added her own musical color.

The staff from the agency said, “Please look forward to the transformation of Sunmi, who has drawn attention for her stage performances and unique concepts.”

Sunmi, who debuted as a member of K-pop girl group Wonder Girls in 2007, has released various songs as a solo artist, such as “24 Hours,” “Full Moon,” “Gashina,” “LALALAY,” “Siren,” and “pporappippam.”
