CJ Group's Lee Mie-kyung to receive Pillar Award at Academy Museum of Motion Pictures

SEOUL, Oct. 13 (Yonhap) -- South Korean entertainment giant CJ group executive Lee Mie-kyung, widely known as Miky Lee, will receive an award at 2022 U.S Academy Museum Gala.

According to CJ ENM on Thursday, Vice-chairman Lee Mie-kyung is set to receive the "Pillar Award" on Oct. 15 (Local Time). This award is given to producers who contributed to the development of culture and art.

Lee is praised for leading the domestic pop culture such as movies, TV programs, and musicals by establishing CJ group subsidiary CJ ENMM. She was a production manager of movie "Decision to Leave," which received Best Director and Best Male Actor awards at Cannes, and "Broker."

Actors Lee Byung-hun, Jung Woo-sung, and Ha Jung-woo will participate the award ceremony to celebrate her award.
