SEOUL, March 7 (Yonhap) -- Netflix series "Parasyte" director Yeon Sang-ho's new film has confirmed its star-studded cast, including Jun Ji-hyun, Go Soo, Ji Chang-wook and Koo Kyo-hwan, distributor Showbox said Friday.
The film is titled "Gunche" in Korean, meaning colony in a biological context. Its English title has yet to be confirmed.
Slated for release next year, the new film marks Yeon's first collaboration with Jun, who returns to the big screen nearly a decade after her role in the 2015 action thriller "Assassination."
Showbox described the upcoming zombie thriller as "the culmination of Yeon Sang-ho's universe, spanning from 'Train to Busan' to 'Peninsula.'"
The film is currently in production, with plot details still being kept under wraps.
