SEOUL, April 22 (Yonhap) -- The master of Daegeumsanjo Lee Saeng-gang(86) and Lee Gwang-hoon(56) will hold performance in succession.

Jukhyang Daegeumsanjo preservation institute announced on the 18th that Lee Saeng-gang, a bearer of intangible cultural heritage Daegeumsanjo, will hold performance at Minsokgeukjang Pungryo in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at 7 p.m. on the upcoming 22th. His son Lee Gwang-hoon, a transmission educator will open Daegeum concert in Changdeokgung palace little theater at 5 p.m. on the 24th.

Daegeumsanjo is a Korean traditional solo instrumental music, playing a song by freely changing the rhythm of Sinawi of Namdosori (Korean Southern folk) and Pansori, which have been handed down since ancient times.

Lee Saeng-gang will be on stage with a song 'Paldogangsang Arirang' in the performance titled 'Jukhyang.' Accordingly, 19 bearers of intangible cultural heritage will show 'Leesaenggang's Daeguemsanjo ensemble .' Korean cherographer Hongsunyi and Lee Gwan-woong will perform 'Kwon Myeong-hwa's sogo dance,' and 'Kim Il-gu's Ajaengsanjo,' accordingly. Last stage will be made with Korean choreographer Park Kyeong-rang's 'Seungmu.'

Lee gwang-hoon will perform songs such as Leesaenggang's Daeguemsanjo, Ajaengsanjo, and Pirisanjo, in the stage two days later.
