PM inspects World Cup street cheering site

Prime Minister Han Duck-soo (C) checks safety measures during a visit to Gwanghwamun Square in downtown Seoul on Nov. 24, 2022, where World Cup cheering will be held later in the day, as South Korea will face Uruguay in a Group H match. The Seoul city government has accepted the football cheering squad Red Devils' request to be able to root for the South Korean World Cup team at the square. The city government had earlier banned outdoor cheering in consideration of the Itaewon tragedy. (Yonhap)
