Hwang Ui-jo disqualified for nat'l team during police probe
This photo shows Hwang Ui-jo, a member of the South Korean men's national team, playing in a friendly with Peru in August 2023. In its meeting on Nov. 28, the Korea Football Association decided not to pick him as a member of the national team until the police completes a probe into sexual accusations against him. Hwang, who currently plays club football for Norwich City in England's second-tier competition, is suspected of having filmed his ex-girlfriend during sex without her consent. (Yonhap)
