Doctors' stance after elections

Kim Sung-keun, in charge of press affairs at the emergency committee of the Korean Medical Association (KMA), gives a briefing at the KMA office in Seoul on April 12, 2024, claiming that the ruling party's rout in the general elections is the people's judgment against the government's plan to increase the medical student enrollments. Trainee doctors nationwide have walked off the job since late February in protest of the medical reform plan. (Yonhap)
