Rice harvesting

A farmer uses a machine to harvest rice in a paddy in Changnyeong, South Gyeongsang Province, southeastern South Korea, on Aug. 8, 2022, one day after "ipchu," one of the 24 seasonal divisions of the year that marks the onset of autumn. The harvest came after an early ripening variety of rice seedlings was planted there on April 16. (Yonhap)
