Centuries-old Korean cherry tree

A 272-year-old, 15.5-meter-tall Wangbeotkkot cherry tree is in full bloom on the country's southern Jeju Island on April 8, 2024. Wangbeotkkot, a Korean native cherry tree originating from Jeju Island, has been designated as a forest cultural asset by the Korea Forest Service. (Yonhap)
