Trainee doctors' walkout

A notice informing of the delay of scheduled treatments due to a shortage of doctors is posted at the counter of a university hospital in Daegu, 237 kilometers southeast of Seoul, on March 22, 2024, amid a monthlong walkout nationwide by some 13,000 trainee doctors opposing the increase of medical students by 2,000.
