BLACKPINK's Rose drops 'number one girl'

SEOUL, Nov. 22 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group BLACKPINK's Rose released a new single, "number one girl," on Friday.

The single comes as a follow-up to her recent hit "APT.," a collaboration with global pop star Bruno Mars that achieved significant global chart success.

"Number one girl" will be included in Rose's upcoming first solo full-length album "rosie," scheduled for release on Dec. 6.

The vocalist has contributed to the lyrics and composition of all 12 songs on the album, offering fans a more personal glimpse into her artistry.

Bruno Mars participated in "number one girl" as a producer.

The American star and Rose will give the first live performance of their collaboration single "APT." at the 2024 MAMA Awards Japan set to open at the Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan later in the day.
