Protest against gov't's return-to-work order

Unionized truckers on South Korea's southern Jeju Island have their hair shaved off during a rally against the government's return-to-work order on cement truckers on Nov. 29, 2022, the sixth day of a nationwide strike by unionized truckers that has disrupted supply chains across the cement and steel industries. Earlier in the day, the government issued the compulsory order. Truck drivers went on strike on Nov. 24, demanding the government extend temporary rules guaranteeing minimum freight rates, citing high fuel prices. (Yonhap)
