'Myohyeonrye' ritual reenacted
"Myohyeonrye," is reenacted at Jongmyo Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site housing the spirit tablets of the former kings and queens of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), in Seoul on April 28, 2023. In the ritual, queens or crown princesses reported their wedding to the shrine after they got married. (Yonhap)
