Dondeokjeon to open to public in Sept.
Participants, including the cultural heritage administration chief, appreciate scenery from the terrace of Dondeokjeon after a ceremony to unveil the signboard on the edifice on May 22, 2023. Dondeokjeon is a historic Western-style building in Deoksu Palace in Seoul used as a royal guesthouse during the Korean Empire (1897-1910), and is set to be made public in September after being reconstructed in its original shape. The reconstruction work started in 2017. (Yonhap)
