Prep for World Cup street cheering

Preparations for World Cup cheering are under way at Gwanghwamun Square in downtown Seoul on Nov. 24, 2022, as South Korea will face Uruguay in a Group H match later in the day. The Seoul city government has accepted the football cheering squad Red Devils' request to be able to root for the South Korean World Cup squad at the square. The city government had earlier banned outdoor cheering in consideration of the Itaewon tragedy. (Yonhap)
