Call for release of Hong Kong activist

Members of Amnesty International Korea hold a rally in front of Myeongdong Cathedral in Seoul on Dec. 1, 2022, to call for the release of pro-democracy Hong Kong activist Chow Hang Tung. Chow, the former vice chair of the now-disbanded Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China, has been jailed for 15 months for organizing a vigil to commemorate the 1989 Tiananmen Square crackdown.
