Ruling on constitutionality of prosecution reform law

Constitutional Court Chief Justice Yoo Nam-seok enters the court in Seoul on March 23, 2023, to give a verdict on the constitutionality of a prosecution reform law aimed at significantly reducing the prosecution's investigative powers. The justice ministry and the prosecution earlier filed a constitutional petition against the law, initiated by the then ruling Democratic Party and enacted in May 2022. (Yonhap)
